Luang Prabang Riverfront

I was very fortunate to visit Luang Prabang in Laos over Christmas. This was my first visit to Laos, and my first visit to Luang Prabang. The town is one of the prettiest places that I have been in south-east Asia. It has a beautiful mix of French colonial architecture and traditional Laotian buildings. The houses, hotels and restaurants along the river side are classically French, beautifully presented, and they all have these gorgeous shuttered windows. It’s a perfect walk on a warm December day, along one of the most stylish and restrained places that I have been in South East Asia. I can’t wait to return !
