Wat Suthat #1

I spent a beautiful couple of hours recently painting at Wat Suthat in Bangkok. Despite the wat being in the centre of the city it was vey quiet and peaceful on a warm Saturday afternoon, my only company were students from a local art college, and the monks. This first painting didn’t quite turn out as I’d hoped. It’s too flat, stationary and dull. However, it’s a stage in the learning, and therefore it gets put up here. Onwards & upwards !
